Preparing for Brexit: Updated guidance for horticultural businesses

EU UK Exit_49749

Defra has produced updated guidance for the farming sector, including horticultural and arable businesses, on how to prepare for the UK's departure from the EU, including the possibility of no deal.

This includes a short animation on how the farming industry can prepare and a fact sheet of key information for horticultural and arable businesses. This fact sheet includes information on farm and rural payments, employing EU citizens, tariffs and trade with the EU (including exporting plants, seeds and organic produce), as well as information on labelling, marketing standards and the use of pesticides and fertilisers post-Brexit.
