Richard is a Director of Gira - the international food research & consultancy firm, since 1991.
He has overall responsibility for the meat sector projects in Gira’s two main business areas: management consultancy, which covers a wide range of business, market, competitor, and strategy development mandates in the food sector (and especially in meat) and strategic market and industrial research, which publishes detailed research reports on many specialist issues in the food market.
Richard has an MBA (London Business School) and is a Director of IMS. He previously worked as a food sector strategist for DZ (the German co-operative bank), and as a commodity trader. He has a livestock & arable farm in the UK.
