Join all three Northants NFU branches for an informative and sociable Super AGM at Courteenhall Estate.

Who should attend?

NFU members in Northamptonshire.

Why should people attend?

For an informative and social evening, with insights from guest speakers and industry experts and a chance to catch up with fellow members.

What does the event involve?

Our guest speaker, Jo Churchill, is Chair of the National Pig Association and was MP for Bury St Edmunds from 2015 to 2024.

During her nine years in Parliament, Jo held several ministerial positions, including roles at the Department of Health during the Covid-19 pandemic and at Defra.

As Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Agri-Innovation and Climate Adaptation, Jo oversaw the Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Bill, an important piece of legislation for the future of agricultural innovation and food production.

She will share insights from her varied career, from building her own successful business to serving in government, and discuss her journey from Parliament to her current role championing the pig sector and wider farming community.

We will also hear from Guy Banham of Berrys, our NFU LNR Surveyor Panel firm, and receive an update from the Northants Police Rural Crime Team.

Refreshments

The evening will conclude with a hog roast.
