The documentary, presented by Mo Gilligan and produced by Mindhouse, is understood to focus on the UK and US poultry sectors.
The NFU is currently reviewing the film and will take any steps necessary to ensure any reporting remains accurate, fair and compliant with relevant regulations.

Will Raw went on to say, “It’s also worth recognising that many UK chicken shops and fast-food outlets source imported chicken, meaning the product being served may have come from countries where food is allowed to be produced in ways that are illegal here. The NFU works hard to ensure that the out-of-home hospitality sector understands the benefits of having homegrown, fully traceable food on their menus and encourages consumers to question where their food is sourced from and how it is produced.
“The British poultry sector remains committed to balancing food production alongside playing our part in protecting and enhancing the natural environment. Millions of pounds has been invested into new technology and infrastructure, ensuring valuable nutrients that are crucial to producing food are utilised responsibly.
“We must also always remember that farms are people’s homes as well as places of work and any activist incursion on private land may amount to an unlawful trespass and is wholly inappropriate. Intimidating behaviour and inflammatory rhetoric cause significant distress to farming families and their staff who are working hard to produce British food for the nation.”
