The Poultry Board discussed BEIC strategy, activism in the egg sector, Brazilian poultry meat following the EU ban and the impact of SPS Agreements on organics.
There were also discussions about species reintroduction, focusing on golden and white-tailed eagles, with particular concern over the potential risk to free-range poultry and turkeys.
NFU Energy also joined the meeting to talk about how they can help poultry farmers.
