The government is consulting on proposals designed to introduce a new phase in the AHWP, which will see voluntary enrolment replaced with mandatory engagement and the cessation of funded elements.
The NFU will be submitting a response on behalf of members based on the contributions made by the national livestock and dairy boards - contents of which will be discussed in the webinar.

Cat McLaughlin
NFU Chief Animal Health and Welfare Adviser
Cat is also Chair of EPRUMA (European Platform for the Responsible Using of Medicines in Animals) and a director of AMTRA (Animal Medicines Training Regulatory Authority).
Her previous roles have included Scottish extension officer of the Milk Development Council and Market Information Manager of Quality Meat Scotland(QMS)/Meat and Livestock Commission (Scotland).
A graduate of the University of Aberdeen (Agriculture, with Honours in Animal Science) she also holds a PG Diploma in Farm Business Organisational Management from the Scottish Agricultural College (Aberdeen).
