Would you agree that we should be seeing financial incentives created for roof based solar on farms? For many businesses, being able to install solar panels along with batteries and generators could completely cut their energy costs and make it more viable to dry grain and therefore store it in better condition and sell it when they want to and ultimately run their farms on known energy costs. I understand the need for balance where land use is concerned, over food production and renewable energy but installing solar panels on existing farm buildings seems like a no brainer – just currently the outlay required is almost unaffordable

Healthier animals are more productive and consequently more sustainable. For example, Defra research found that animal disease results in an increase of greenhouse gas emissions compared to healthy animals, with increases of up to 130% emissions per unit of beef carcass due to BVD, 40% for Johne's disease and 20% for Salmonella and infertility. Where is the place for championing the role of animal health in climate-friendly farming?

Does Science back up the hype of new farming techniques? Many customers wish farming businesses to jump onto the regenerative farming bandwagon and insist farmers change practices, but where is the replicated science to provide farmers with the confidence to change and who will fund that science?
