NFU Alnwick Group Secretaries Miriam McGregor and Jane Potts clinched the North regional award for the highest achieving office of the year in the region.
The annual awards are given by the NFU in recognition of outstanding achievement and excellence in membership retention and recruitment. This year’s event was held at the Churchill War Rooms in London on Thursday 26 March.
Director of Regions and Membership David Hall said: “The Churchill War Rooms was a fitting location for the 2026 National Achievers Awards Ceremony given the battle the NFU has had with the Government over more than 14 months.
“The evening brought together Group Secretaries from across the country that had achieved their performance targets and the evening was opportunity for the NFU to say thank you to them. It was great to see so many offices represented from across England and Wales with awards presented by NFU President Tom Bradshaw and NFU Cymru President Abi Reader.
“The North was well represented by Macclesfield, Lancaster and North Riding, the top performing office in the North was Alnwick and my congratulations go to Miriam and Jane for their achievement and success.”
NFU North Regional Director Adam Briggs said: “‘I’d like to extend my congratulations to Miriam and Jane for their brilliant performance last year, consistently delivering for the NFU.
“They have a great relationship with their members in the area and have helped engaged with their local MPs as part of our campaign against IHT.”
