- soil health
- biodiversity
- automation
- reducing crop losses and food waste, and
- improving product quality.
The challenge aims to identify solutions that could be developed further with Tesco’s supply chain partners.

Successful applicants will receive support from Tesco’s Sustainable Agriculture and Fisheries team, with opportunities for mentoring and guidance on how their technology could be applied in commercial settings.
Previous rounds have attracted innovators working on automation, data tools, emissions reduction and resource use efficiency, with Tesco using the programme to explore technologies that may have potential across its supply base.
