Last year the NFU launched a Dairy Farm Survey to capture industry data and evidence which fed into our response to Defra's Clean Air Strategy consultation. You can read the full response here.

Following the launch of the Clean Air Strategy earlier this year, the RABDF is now looking to collate information to help highlight the implications proposed clean air legislation and environmental permitting could have on dairy farms across the UK.

This is a cross-sector issue which as an industry we need to work together on to ensure future environmental regulation works alongside productive, profitable dairy farms.

As part of the RABDF’s new policy focus on the Clean Air Strategy it is looking to collate as much information as possible on the topic. This means it wants to hear from you and exactly what you know about Defra's proposals by asking you to take part in a short survey.

The results of the survey will help inform a report aimed at challenging certain regulatory aspects of the Strategy proposed by Defra.

The NFU facilitates a Dairy Environmental Issues Group which brings together stakeholders from across the industry including farmers, processors, consultants, the RABDF, the TFA, the Environment Agency and Defra to discuss the environmental challenges and opportunities facing the dairy sector. We are committed to sharing information and working together as an industry to achieve the best outcome for our members.
