NFU hosts supply chain plant protection briefing

Chaired by NFU Vice-president, Guy Smith, the session covered current issues regarding plant protection products, with a specific focus upon; glyphosate, neonicotinoids and maximum residue levels. In addition to examining the impacts of Brexit upon current crop protection methods, the briefing also assessed the impacts the potential loss such products may cause for specific crops, as well as agricultural and affiliated industries as a whole.

Discussion covered how businesses could deal with social media issues relating to plant protection, NFU experts offered attendees an insight into how different channels of communication can be utilised to achieve key aims.
