The food chain team meets regularly with a range of retailers, processors, manufacturers and caterers to ensure that UK grocery supply chains are mutually beneficial, that UK produce is used where possible and that it is sourced in a fair and equitable manner.
February 2021 key changes and meetings:
- The team connected NFU Cymru with the dynamic food platform.
- The team met with M&S to discuss initial ideas for a collaborative project.
- The team met with the Chair of the Hospital Food Review to discuss the reviews implementation.
