CTS Downtime - Systems Unavailable

Heifers, Jimi Collis farm_44156

"Due to essential maintenance work, the following livestock systems will be affected from 5pm on Friday 18th until 7am on Monday 21st August 2017:

  • CTS Online
  • CTS Web Services
  • CTS Self Service Line
  • CTS SIS

Users of the above systems should try to submit notifications to BCMS before or after this weekend. If this is not possible, the impacts will differ dependent upon the systems being used:

CTS Online, CTS Web Services and CTS Self Service Line

Any information submitted on CTS Online, CTS Web Services and the CTS Self Service Line during this time will be queued for processing. As a result, whilst the receipt date for any births, moves or deaths will be date upon which the user submitted the notification, they will not show on CTS during this period.

CTS SIS

Any files submitted to SIS will be queued for processing and no submission/failure receipts will be issued until this work is completed. Therefore any submissions made between 18th & 21st August should only be made once, as receipts for these will be sent once they are processed. If receipts have not been received by 12:00 on Monday 21st August, users should contact the BCMS Helpline on 0345 050 1234, so that the status of these can be checked, before resubmitting any information (if necessary).

SIS files submitted during this period will have a receipt date of 21 August. Therefore, if SIS users believe that this downtime will result in late movement notifications or late passport applications, they should notify BCMS to make sure that this weekend downtime is accounted for at BCMS validation.

Messages have been placed on the systems affected and users such as ear-tag suppliers, markets and slaughterhouses have been alerted.

Further maintenance work is scheduled to take place over weekends in September and October. We will alert you as soon as we have full details"
