The forum discussed this year’s farm visits which were very successful and will be repeated next year.
NFU expert advisors presented updates on key NFU policy areas including the Environmental Bill and ELM’s, Brexit, IPM and Net Zero. The forum was able to respond and feed into the policy areas, which highlighted the important role the forum plays in the influencing the work carried out by the NFU. The forum established several next steps for the upcoming meeting in December, which will be held at Produce World, hosted by NFU organic forum member Andrew burgess.
