Welcome to our new Environment and Land Use Adviser Bee Barton-Broomhead.

Bee joins the NFU from Adas Rural, where she worked as an assistant surveyor, specialising in infrastructure and estate management. Before that she worked for SAI Global and NSF International as a lead auditor for a number of Red Tractor schemes, including beef, lamb, dairy, pigs, combinable crops, livestock markets and transport.

She has been involved in farming from a young age and developed a passion for estate management with a particular focus on livestock, mainly pigs. She graduated from Nottingham Law School with an LLB Hons in Law, focussing mainly on agricultural and land law, before graduating from Harper Adams University with a Masters in Rural Estate and Land Management.

Bee will work alongside Environment and Land Use Adviser Rob Wise, including taking the lead on the many infrastructure projects affecting members across the East region.
