Confirm your supplier arrangements
Contact your supplier as soon as possible and no later than the end of November to confirm availability and secure the eligible items listed in your GFA (Grant Funding Agreement).
If your preferred supplier cannot meet the requirements or deadlines, reach out to alternative suppliers, even if they are further afield.
Plan for delivery and paperwork
Work backwards from the March 2026 deadline to create a realistic timeline with suppliers that allows for delivery in time for:
- Photos to be taken as proof of delivery and installation.
- Paperwork and funding audit trails to be completed and obtained.
Feedback
We would like to hear from members at this time if they are experiencing any issues in obtaining eligible items included within their grant funding agreement.
Review the scheme rules carefully
Double-check your GFA terms and conditions and item specifications so you fully understand the scheme requirements. Make sure all purchases and claims comply with the scheme rules. For reference see – Productivity items and specifications - Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2025 (closed) - GOV.UK.
Submit claims by grant theme
Remember, there are three grant themes you could have applied for:
- Productivity
- Slurry
- Animal health and welfare
A separate claim must be submitted for each theme you were successful under.
Include all eligible items for that theme in your single claim – you can only make one claim per grant theme.
Taking these actions now, will mean you avoid delays in March.
