The Christmas Tractor Run is organised by NFU North West Crops Board Chairman Olly Harrison. This is the third year it has taken place in Liverpool, raising nearly £70,000 for Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

The procession set off at 6pm, heading first to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and then, for the first time, travelled into Liverpool city centre on the Strand from the Liver Building end and left in the direction of the Women’s Hospital.

A staggering 110 tractors took part in this year's procession. JCB also loaned Olly three machines for the event.

People wanting to make a donation can do so on the Festive Farmers JustGiving page or by texting TRACTOR to 70450. Money raised goes to Alder Hey Children's Charity, which funds life-saving equipment and research to help patients and families across the UK.
