The fourth Festive Farmers tractor run in Liverpool organised by NFU Crops board member Olly Harrison has raised over £52,000 for the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Around 100 tractors lit up the streets of south and east Liverpool on Sunday 10 December. Over 100,000 people gathered to cheer on the Christmas convoy along the 17-mile route.

As well as raising funds for the charity, all the drivers brought food donations for Fans Supporting Food Banks.

The event has grown in success year on year.

“We’re happy that we’ve raised over £52,000. I’d like to thank all the tractor drivers for taking part and NFU and NFU Mutual for their support.”

Olly said: “One of the highlights of the 2023 event is that we took the tractors to Media City a few days before for BBC Breakfast, where we had one of the breakfast presenters driving one of the tractors.

“We’re happy that we’ve raised over £52,000. I’d like to thank all the tractor drivers for taking part and NFU and NFU Mutual for their support.”

Anyone who would like to donate can do so at the Festive Farmers JustGiving page. All funds raised go to Alder Hey Children's Charity.
