NFU Food Business Relationship Adviser Charlotte Nott looks at what the recent ‘EAT-Lancet 2’ report means for British farming.

A new report in medical science journal the Lancet that set out an updated ‘diet for planetary health’ prompted plenty of coverage and again put food and farming at the centre of a global debate.

The message from the EAT-Lancet Commission was familiar: to improve human and planetary health, diets should be more plant-rich, with moderate amounts of animal-sourced food.
