The family farm also produces cereals and pulses for local markets and has a holiday cottage enterprise too. Mark is an appointee on the National Livestock Board, Chair of the RUMA Cattle Antibiotic Guardian Group and a farmer representative on the Veterinary Products Committee at the VMD. He considers the health and welfare of the UK herd to be a key selling point for UK beef and lamb abroad and is keen to see this properly recognised.
