Important travel advice

Parking

There are several car parks near the ICC:

  • Utilita Arena, B1 2AA
  • Brindleyplace, B1 2JF
  • Paradise Circus, B1 2NB

A full list of car parks can be found at the Birmingham City Council website: Find parking

Due to extensive roadworks and construction in the city, we recommend you allow extra journey time when travelling to NFU Conference 2026.

Clean Air Zone charges

In June 2021, Birmingham introduced a Clean Air Zone which means some cars may be charged to enter the city.

If you'll be arriving by car, you must check the eligibility of your vehicle and pay the charge in advance at the government website: Drive in a Clean Air Zone

More information on Clean Air Zone charges

The following information is taken from www.brumbreathes.co.uk.

As per the Charging Order, which is the legal document setting out how the zone will operate, the charges will be:

  • £8 per day for cars, taxis and LGVs
  • £50 a day for coaches, buses and HGVs

Payment must be made via the government's online payment system or by calling the National Contact Centre on 0300 029 8888 (Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm) either:

  • Six days before the day of your visit
  • The day of your visit
  • Six days after the day of your visit

Please note: you will not receive a notification or alert advising you that you have entered the zone and payment is due. As a driver you are fully responsible for understanding and managing all payments.

If you do not pay during the allocated 13-day payment window you will be subject to a Penalty Charge Notice of £120, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.
