Nominations are invited for representatives for each county for the following posts and the following terms of office:
County chairs to serve for two years (2026-2028):
Cheshire
Cumbria
Council representatives to serve for two years (2026-2028):
Northumberland
York East
Yorkshire West Riding
Both county chairs and council representatives will serve as NFU Council members.

Completed nomination forms should be returned to the above email address by 7 November 2025.
Nominations may be made by any group of 20 fully paid-up farming members from within the respective county, or at properly constituted NFU meetings. In the event of a single nomination, he/she will be deemed to be elected. If more than one candidate applies, a postal vote will take place.
In the event of a contested election, voting papers will be mailed to NFU members, whose registered address is in the relevant constituency, on or before 21 November 2025 and must be received by the Regional Director at NFU North, Pure Offices, 4100 Park Approach, Thorpe Park, Leeds, LS15 8GB, by 5pm on 8 December 2025.
Election date: 12 December 2025.
