With the announcement of further planned Royal Mail strikes throughout October, November and December, here’s how industrial action may impact when you receive your magazines.

The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has called on its members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and mail to take further strike action on 13, 20 and 25 October.

The Royal Mail has contingency plans in place but is warning of potential disruption to delivery services. You can read more about the planned industrial action on the Royal Mail news feed.

Further action could be planned on:

  • Network and national distribution: 2, 8, 14, 23, 30 November
  • Parcel and letter processing and distribution: 3, 9, 15, 24 November and 1 December
  • Parcel and letter deliveries: 4, 10, 16, 25 November and 2 December

How the strike will affect your magazines

  • The NFU Poultry edition due to arrive in October will be received later than planned due to the action on 12, 20 and 25 October
  • All NFU magazines due to arrive in November including British Farmer & Grower, Horticulture, and Countryside will be delayed.

We are estimating that magazines may arrive three to four days later than planned. We will keep you updated on any changes on this page.
