On Saturday 25 June, all proceeds of entry to the farm will be donated to RABI (Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution), a charity which provides help, guidance, and financial support to farming communities in times of difficulty.
As well as enjoying the critters experience, farmyard friends and play areas, visitors will be able to meet the Rural Police Taskforce, try on uniforms and sit in the specially equipped rural 4x4 vehicles.
PC Paddy Stewart for South’s Rural Taskforce said: “South Rural Taskforce are extremely proud to support rural communities, whether that’s fighting rural crime through tackling offenders and putting them before court, offering prevention advice, recovering stolen property, or supporting mental health.
“Sadly, farmers suffer greatly with poor mental health due to increasing pressures, stress, and loneliness. We work really closely with farmers to understand how difficult farming can be, so this is a great opportunity for us to give back to the community.”
