Environment Farm business Agricultural Transition Plan

The Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) pilot is Defra's opportunity to learn what works best for farmers, directly from farmers, as part of its development of the new scheme. The pilot potentially sets the foundations of the scheme to be rolled out in 2024.

The pilot is designed to be a 'safe space' to have conversations about the detail of the scheme. In 2024, SFI will be available to all as part of the suite of Environmental Land Management schemes.
