Training and Skills

The NFU is working across the industry to ensure that training is easily accessible and reflects the sector's needs and priorities.

We are working to promote skills and training to develop a professional, competitive and highly skilled workforce.

The NFU is a key member of the AgriSkills Forum, which is responsible for developing the industry skills strategy, and is seen as the first point of call for the government on industry skills issues.

The NFU is engaging with the National Land Based College, a UK-wide virtual college championing skills development and providing a digital hub for land based careers, education and training.

We encourage anyone working in the industry to register with the NLBC to receive ongoing skills support throughout your career.
