The total builds on the success of last year's inaugural event, which raised £11,500.
Over 240 people attended the black-tie event at Ribby Hall Village, Blackpool, which was organised by Lancashire County Chair Becki Fielding. Once again the event brought together members of Lancashire's farming community to raise funds for the North West Air Ambulance Charity, which relies entirely on public donations to operate.
Medical crew from the charity spoke to guests about the vital role the service plays across the region, providing an insight into the lifesaving care delivered by its helicopters and critical care teams. They explained how they now carry two types of blood and plasma to patients which saves many more lives.
Guests, including farmers and representatives from related businesses, enjoyed a three-course meal and took part in a charity raffle and auction, compered by BBC Radio Lancashire’s Stephen Lowe.
Over 40 prizes - generously donated from farmers and associated organisations - were up for grabs, including farm shop hampers, a Landrover Defender teddy bear, wine, gin tasting experiences, a JCB toolbox and JCB Fastrac and driver hire, pallets of sawdust, compost, hedge cutting, a spa day and much more.
Dewhurst Agri, a local JCB dealership, sponsored the event and also donated prizes to support the raffle and auction.
The successful event comes just weeks after event organiser Becki received a BBC Make A Difference Fundraiser Award in recognition of her fundraising efforts.
A huge thank you
Becki said: "I am thrilled that we raised just over £20,000 for the North West Air Ambulance Charity at the Lancashire Harvest Ball. It was wonderful to get everybody together. Everyone had a really good time while raising money for such an amazing charity. It was great to see people off the farm ‘out out’ and it was nice to be joined by members from other counties too.
“A huge thank you to our very kind sponsors, Dewhurst Agri, for their support and for donating prizes for the auction, also to the staff at Ribby Hall, who were excellent, as well as everyone who generously donated raffle and auction prizes and bought tickets.
"We're incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it such a positive evening. A special thanks must go to my good friend, Dawn Odgers and her family, who created the beautiful flower arrangements and delivered them to Ribby Hall."
