Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, which raised £11,540 for the charity, the second NFU Lancashire Harvest Ball will take place on Saturday 3 October, 6.30pm at Ribby Hall Village, near Blackpool.
The evening, kindly sponsored by Dewhurst Agri, will feature a three-course dinner, disco, charity auction and raffle, hosted by BBC Radio Lancashire’s Stephen Lowe.
Lancashire County Adviser Aarun Naik said: “With strong interest already shown in the event, this is the last opportunity for members to secure tickets. I urge members to book now to avoid missing out on what promises to be another outstanding evening – don’t miss your chance to support a worthy cause, enjoy a fantastic evening and help raise vital funds for a service that so many people across the region depend upon.”
Tickets are £45 per person or £430 for a table of 10.
As preparations continue, Lancashire County Chair Becki Fielding is also making a final appeal for raffle and auction prize donations for the event.
Becki said: “The North West Air Ambulance Charity receives no funding from the government or the NHS and relies entirely on donations to run the amazing service it provides. Every ticket purchased and every prize donated helps support the lifesaving work of the charity. I would be extremely grateful for any donations of raffle and auction prizes for the evening.
