Wanted: Dairy case studies on labour shortages

Dairy Cows_18075

One of the biggest challenges facing the dairy sector is accessing labour on farm.

The need for sufficiently skilled, permanent labour on farm is important to maintain animal welfare standards, ensure business viability, productivity and to reduce pressure on existing staff.

The NFU is looking to produce several member case studies highlighting the issues shortage of labour can have on a dairy farm business. These case studies aim to raise awareness about the problem as well as feed into official evidence for the NFU's Immigration Bill submission.

If you are a dairy farmer who has experienced labour shortages and would like to share your story, please complete this form and send it to aGFubmFoLmJpbm5zQG5mdS5vcmcudWs=.
