Applications are open to become a Board member for the Environment Agency, with an emphasis on candidates who bring ‘new and diverse experience’ to the table.

There are at least three roles up for grabs to be a part of the Board that sets the EA’s (Environment Agency) strategy and direction of travel.

Make an impact

There will be an opportunity to contribute to key ongoing work supporting growth, protecting communities from flooding and environmental harm and tackling waste crime.

You will be joining at a significant juncture as the Board works with the government and other regulators on plans to establish a new water regulator.

The Board:

  • drives performance,
  • fosters strong relationships with stakeholders,
  • creates a supportive and encouraging environment for the EA team that aims to build consensus, find practical solutions, provide constructive challenge and celebrate successes, and
  • manages public funds and environmental outcomes.
