The Cambridge Forum will address the future of food supply chains and features a keynote presentation from NFU Deputy President Paul Tompkins.

With supply chains under pressure from geopolitical instability, trade disruptions and climate change, global leaders and innovators are coming together to explore the UK’s national security through examining our food security at the 2026 Cambridge Forum for Future Food Supply Chains.

Future-proofing food supply chains will top the agenda of the University of Cambridge event hosted by the IfM Industrial Resilience Research Group.

There will be a mixture of keynote presentations, thought-provoking panels, exhibitions showcasing the latest technologies, solutions and services, networking opportunities and a demonstration featuring the GSCO (Global Supply Chain Observatory), a research initiative from Cambridge University to monitor supply chains worldwide.

NFU Deputy President Paul Tompkins is presenting a talk on ‘The Role of British Farmers in Securing the Future of Food’, alongside sessions dissecting the financing, policy and technology behind maintaining resilient supply chains, and more.
