How confident do you feel about the future of the potato sector?
Industry body GB Potatoes has launched a national survey with the aim of developing a sound understanding of how confident growers feel about the future of the potato sector, and to gather accurate information on the area of potatoes being grown across Great Britain, as well as the factors shaping the future of the sector.
The survey is open until 16 January 2026, and all participants will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher.
The survey will gather detailed information on the hectares of potatoes being grown, providing a nationwide benchmark of production levels across the industry.
The results of the survey will feed into GB Potatoes’ annual Confidence and Production Report. This evidence will enable GB potatoes to build a clearer picture of the industry, which will be used to support the sector’s future.
