British farmers and growers produce food to some of the highest animal welfare and environmental standards in the world. We are continually speaking to the highest levels of government to highlight the importance of core standards to ensure our members are not disadvantaged by imported food produced to standards that would be illegal here.
We know the public trust British food and we recognise that maintaining this trust is absolutely vital. That is why we will continue to push for the introduction of core production standards to ensure the hard work of our members, and the high standards they produce to, is recognised.
